Abstract

Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) is a public health problem due to its high prevalence and the health of mothers and their babies. The research design used was an analytic study with a cross-sectional research design, namely to explore factors related to the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Silinda Health Center in 2021. The number of samples in this study was 32 people. With accidental sampling technique. Data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire used to obtain chi square data. The conclusion from the conclusion that the majority of respondents are at least 19 people (59.4%) and dangerous hazards are 13 people (40.6%), the majority of high school respondents are 18 people (56.3%) and elementary school minorities are as many as 2 people (6.3%), the majority of respondents in the third trimester were 15 people (46.9%) and the minority in the first trimester were 5 people (15.6%), the majority of respondents did not experience anemia, namely 21 people (65, 6%) and the minority experienced anemia as many as 11 people (34.4%), there was a relationship between maternal age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women using the x2 (chi square) formula with p value = 0.007 (P < 0.05), there was the relationship between maternal education and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women using the formula x2 (chi square) with p value = 0.018 (P < 0.05), there is a relationship between gestational age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women using the formula x2 (chi square) with p value value = 0.018 (P < 0.05).
