Pregnancy exercise is one of the sports activities that mothers can do during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy to simplify and prepare for a natural and comfortable delivery. Pregnant women are less active in participating in pregnancy exercise, where out of 489 people, only 108 pregnant women participate, including 34 routinely every week at Midwife Helen Tarigan Clinic, Gang Mawar Simpang Selayang, Medan Tuntung District, 2020. The research objective was to determine the relationship between occupational factors and knowledge. , attitudes and support of husbands with participation in pregnancy exercise in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters at the Helen Tarigan Clinic Midwife, Gang Mawar Simpang Selayang, Medan District in 2021. This research was an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population was 95 pregnant women and a sample of 49 people was determined by purposive sampling. The results showed that more pregnant women did not have a job (61.2%), had less knowledge (53.1%), had a negative attitude (59.2%), did not receive support from their husbands (51.7%), and did not routinely follow weekly pregnancy exercise (57.1%). Statistically, it shows that there is a relationship between work, knowledge, attitudes of pregnant women and husband's support with participation in pregnancy exercise, respectively, the value of p = 0.035, 0.031, 0.04, and 0.04 is smaller than 0.05. It can be concluded that the factors of work, knowledge, attitudes and support of husbands have a correlation with attending pregnancy exercise every week. It is hoped that clinic midwives can provide counseling to pregnant women and husbands when visiting the clinic to explain the benefits and uses of participating in pregnancy exercise.
