Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Ibu dan Dukungan Suami Terhadap Pemberian ASI Esklusif di Puskesmas Lubuk Pakam Kecamatan Lubuk Pakam Tahun 2021
Abstract
Exclusive breastfeeding is highly recommended for infants aged 0 to 6 months, because breast milk contains complete nutrition for the growth and development of infants. The government targets exclusive breastfeeding to reach 80%, but in fact in 2009 it only reached 34.3%. The success of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by several factors, one of which is the mother's knowledge about breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of mother's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding at the Lubuk Pakam Public Health Center in 2021. Research method This research was analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. Samples were taken from 35 mothers who had children aged more than 6 months to 12 months of age. The results showed that 35 mothers (65.3%) had poor knowledge, of which 25 mothers (71.4%) did not give exclusive breastfeeding and 10 mothers (28.5%) gave exclusive breastfeeding to their children. There is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months in the Lubuk Pakam Health Center Work Area, Lubuk Pakam District, Lubuk Pakam District. Pakam Lubuk Pakam District. Conclusion There is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. There is a relationship between husband's support and exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months in the Working Area of the Lubuk Pakam Health Center, Lubuk Pakam District.
