Pengaruh Senam Yoga Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Ibu Hamil Trimester III Di Klinik Suci Ramadani Medan Tahun 2020
Abstract
Humans spend a third of the time in life sleeping. Data from sleep polls in America by the National Sleep Foundation found that women experience more sleep disorders than men, which is 63%: 54% (National Sleep Foundation, 2017). The research design used is an analytic study with a cross sectional study approach, aiming to determine the effect of yoga exercise on sleep quality for pregnant women in the third trimester at the Suci Ramadani Clinic in 2020. The number of samples in this study was 35 people. With accidental sampling technique. Data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire used to obtain chi square data. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between yoga exercise and sleep quality (p value = 0.004 (P <0.05). It is expected that third trimester pregnant women can improve their sleep quality, one of which is by applying yoga exercises during pregnancy by doing movements that begin with with warm-up movements, core movements of yoga exercise and ending with guided breath relaxation which is carried out 1 week 2x when in the morning or evening on an empty stomach with safe and comfortable principles so that the body feels fresh and the quality of sleep will increase in pregnancy.
