Hubungan Pemberian ASI Eksklusif Dengan Status Gizi Bayi 6-12 Bulan Di Puskesmas Onan Hasang Tahun 2019

Abstract

Growth and development includes two events, namely growth and development which are different in nature but interrelated and difficult to separate. Every baby must get good nutrition, nutritional deficiency in children is a nutritional problem that needs attention. This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of babies 6-12 months at the Onan Hasang Community Health Center in 2019 using observational analytical methods with cross-sectional approach. The results obtained based on the Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test obtained p value obtained p value of 0.000 (<0.01), so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This indicates that there is a significant effect between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status at the Onan Hasang Community Health Center. The results of the Contingency Coefficient (CC) analysis obtained a value of 0.604, this indicates that the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and nutritional status is in the strong category. It can be concluded that babies who are exclusively breastfed are proven to have a good nutritional status compared to babies who are not exclusively breastfed. This study is expected to be used as a source of knowledge for health workers, further researchers and mothers.
